How Strict?

My question is, how strict do we need to be on this diet and how long? 

It depends upon the individual it's an individual situation. 

The man who had the hip replacement they had the two years of suffering. Year and three months or year and seven months or something like that. 

No, year plus 3/4 of the year. 

So it must be nine months, year, nine months of pain. 

He did the diet probably 75%, but he made sure he ate a pound and a half of meat a day.
